As a member of the Pleva family, there is nowhere else Ramona would consider home but Cedar, MI. Over the years, Ramona has come to appreciate Northern Michigan for the beauty of the area, but even more so for the beauty of the people, who are ever committed to making a positive impact on this community. It is her unscientific belief that this area has more fabulous people per capita than anywhere in the world! Ramona has a beautiful, spoiled rotten, golden retriever named Lily that accompanies her at home and at work.
As a massage therapist, Ramona is known in the community as someone who can help just about anyone to relax and enjoy life. She has a customized thearapeutic hot stone massage, “Ramonassage” that has garnered praise in her many career travels as a sports massage therapist from the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics to the 2006 and 2007 Ford Ironman World Championships in Hawaii.
A fan of “Dancing with the Stars”, Ramona found out about the SwingShift and the Stars from the Facebook post of a friend that was asked, but was unable to participate in the competition. She jumped at the chance to fill their shoes for a good cause and is proud to be raising money for Third Level Crisis Center, an organization dedicated to helping youth in need of support during times of personal challenge.
